Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i don't think one up front works well for us. I think we need 2 up there, by the way we play we seem to function better and create more chances with 2 up front...... strictly IMO ....

I think everyone agrees 2 up front is the way to go. Seriously hope that Rodgers puts the 1 up front idea in the bin.

Ok so watching the game live I got this impression

There were zero pace up front until Sterling came on, Mario did not run much but then he was getting fouled alot off the ball i dunno if this was picked up on the tv.

Manquillo seems to be scared to pass the ball forward.

Defence was a mess most of the game and kept letting the ball bounce which is bad.

It seemed Villa came for a smash and grab with keeping everyone behind the ball after they scored and trying to hit on the counter attack, say way Chelsea played last season

    ******

Do you make up your mind on all new signings after 4 games (less in most caIes) or only non Arsenal players?

No it was in general from all his previous signings, and from what I've seen so far nothing looks to have changed in his mediocre transfer policy.

The fact you rather take pot shots at me instead of counter arguing my points tell me all I need to know.

Sky gave it to Nathan Baker, was between him and Senderos, for them anyway.

Hey Mr Hutton the best rb in the league would have been up there aswell, I think we should banish Clark to the reserves send him out on loan to spain, might come back the new Maldini :D

In this context "them" was Sky not Villa. :o

Hutton was good alright, which is weird, anytime I seen him in the last few years hes been a liability, maybe Keane and Lambert are working their magic on the back line.

I think you'd be more likely to hear Keane telling Hutton to go in harder next time (woof)
