Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rooney is so poor, just the goal and assist today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Doesn't matter how bad he may seem to be playing Rooneys ability to do that makes him epic.

Cracking first half performance. This United team has become fun to watch again.

can't underestimate the pressing and positioning of Blind too, allowing Di Maria and Herrera to do their thing

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

RVP is rubbish. He keeps giving the ball away, take him off etc. . .

Great play and no Valencia and Young!

"Are you Gerrard in disguise" they sing towards the ref. Brilliant.

I suppose it's only taken 150m to get the 1st league win of the year😉

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,755 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

The new team has lived upto the very high expectations.

    No more 5 defenders hopefully.

Best I've seen United since the days of Ronnie, Roo, Berba and Tevez

And very well spent by the looks of things. Could win this 6-0

On the flip side, QPR are fúcking dreadful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭LostBoy101

Very positive first half but QPR are woeful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

    David who?

Bye Bye 2 banks of 4 and 2 isolated strikers, welcome back free flowing pacy attacking football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,706 ✭✭✭Schwiiing

How do managers like Harry Redknapp keep getting work? Never built a decent side in his life. How many times has he been relegated and what is this love affair with Niko Krancjar?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,986 ✭✭✭Spazdarn

That 3-5-2 was bollox, especially with our defenders being poor enough.

This formation is well sexy, every time Di Maria gets the ball you know somethings gonna happen

Which equates to 4.28 Andy Carroll's! Bargain.

Give this team a few months together and they will be amazing!!! Good times.

Looking forward to seeing falcao now

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

Get Shaw, Pereira and the other guy, Valencia on in the second half and this will be perfect.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Praying he sends on Falcao now at half time!

    Well this is great :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,986 ✭✭✭Spazdarn

    Euuuu keep Valencia away.

Falcao and Januzaj get a run out. Shaw get some minutes too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Saw this on Twitter.

If you chose to have a 'bang' on every bet Ray Winstone told you about, you'd have so far lost 1.6 million pounds!!

    :D

Big shout out to Rojo, his performance is probably being overshadowed by the other new guys but he looks so comfortable already, really impressed with him.

I'm trying to stream the game from my Mac Air to my TV but can't get the sound to work. Anyone know why?

Some cables only output video, you'll have to play the sound from the device itself

    EDIT: You mean Ipad air?

Try system preferences, sound, output and see if there is an option for the TV

Ah heyor, he built a Portsmouth team that won the FA cup. And his old West Ham teams were good.

He's probably coming towards retirement age now though.

And the Auld Trafford half time entertainment is......

Three ball-juggling 'ninjas' on pitch at Old Trafford at HT on behalf of noodle sponsors Nissin. These commercial deals come at a price ...

Sam Wallace on the scene. ;)

Plot twist: The ninjas remove their masks and it's Ronaldo, Messi and Vidal, United's secret new signings.

QPR are taking some hidings this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,293 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Not taking anything away from United but ye won't have an easier game all season qpr are atrocious, they are happy to watch di maria run at them, no closing down. It's a stark contrast to the well drilled performance of villa at Anfield yesterday.

I don't care if it's only QPR I am genuinely enjoying a united match for the first time in a long time. Loving Di Maria so far and can't wait to see Falcao get a run. Feel like a kid on Christmas morning unwrapping presents

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Harry is now paying the price for not talking out his car window on transfer deadline day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,364 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

United have looked infinitely better today than in previous games but there is still a lot more to come from them. Plus, it's QPR. They are horrendous. /Perspective.

    Now, give us Falcao!

It doesn't really matter, United needed to come up against a side like this to build up some much needed confidence and relieve some of the pressure on them today.
