    I am looking for a good TV, 48-50inch with SMART TV functions for around 650euro....

    Any recommendations??

    Hi Elainer,

    Thanks for getting in touch, and apologies about the delay in getting back to you.  

    There's isn't an awful lot of options in that size for that budget.  Would 42" be too small?

    We have a Panasonic 50" at £549.00.  This is a 50" Full HD smart TV.  It's also Saorview approved so will work fine in the south :)

    The total for the above TV in Euro would be €712.98.  


    If you could stretch your budget to €800 or so you could get a cracking screen :)

    This is a really fantastic TV and it has the latest LG Web OS which is just fantastic ( I was playing with it the other evening, its brill!)

    It has a Dual satellite and Digital tuner built in ( Saorview of course) Its WiFi and of course with the LG Web OS its R E A L L Y smart!



    If you pushed the budget to £699 /€869.99 then you can actually get the new Panasonic TX47AS650 which has a really mega spec!

    The 50AS500 is indeed Full HD. 
    It has a Freeview HD tuner on board and all the smart functions.

    The current price inc delivery would be 729.99 Euro

    Hi!

    Is this TX50AS500B Panasonic television made by Panasonic or one of them Nordmende manufactured and Panasonic labelled ones?
    Whats the remote control look like - Panasonic traditional shaped or non-traditional shaped?

    Interested to buy one but I would like defo to purchase Panasonic made by Panasonic.

    the 42AS500 is very much a Pana and the remote is a trad Pana R/c - have a look at the manual here: http://www.richersounds.com/static/manuals/AS500B.pdf

    What about TX50AS500B - as original question - I assume models mentioned above are 42 inch TV's? Looking 50 inch - Panasonic made by Panasonic not Nordmende.

    Again the TX50as500 is a Panasonic - to be honest locally Nordemende is now just a Brand name owned by the KAL group - they are not actually a manufacturing company but rather outsource their manufacturing to third parties including I understand the Turkish manufacturer Vestel..

    Seamus - the remote for the 50AS500 is the same as the 42AS500 - I posted the link to the full manual above and the remote is on page 12 and it shows full identifying controls.
