Most worrying thing is, here we are almost one and a half matches against two pretty poor sides and not one chance made. You wouldn't mind missing chances but not creating them is very worrying.

Suarez and Sturridge were spinning their defenders, going past them and then playing people in. Balo seems more prone to fold up then knock the ball back. At which point the defense have reset and readied themselves.

That was hard watched. Pool are seriously lacking Sturridge's movement up front. So far it's looking like Balotelli isn't suiting the style of play at all.

Coutinho has been disappointing...Lallana was improving towards the end of the game.

Niall Quinn was saying that they are trying to hard and I agree...lads are pushing too hard and it's not working.

Lallana nowhere near match sharp yet. Didn't have a pre-season really having got injured so early on tour. Feels like he's only going through his pre-season training now but in competitive games instead.
