If they are delivering a lot it prob depends on the route they take. I normally don't get parcel delivery till after 12 so was lucky today

If I don't have passport or drivers licence, am I screwed? Passport is in any of a number of boxes in a garage(yay moving house) I don't have access to until later this evening, but I've got an Age Card/Birth Cert which I've used elsewhere as ID...

As of 7:08 this morning my parcel is in ballymount and I'm in Stepaside. Can't see how it will get to my local depot for delivery today. Is this standard procedure? Or will they be delivered straight from ballymount? Monday surely? Has anyone had anything definite from O2 as regards delivery today?bive been told 1-2 business days on O2 chat this morning.

Mine was also in Ballymount this morning, wifes office is about 2 mins from the depot a;ready delivered
The delivery is direct from Ballymount, so as long as the tracking no. says "On route to customer" you will get it today

Update at 6 this morning said on route to customer, live 20 minutes away from Ballymount. Still waiting.

I ordered with Meteor (switching to bill pay) and I've literally heard nothing since pre-ordering last Friday. No contact whatsoever and no way of checking the status of the order. My card was charged for the full up front amount though. Was hoping to get it today but looks unlikely.

The thing that strikes me this year is how the networks were pushing to sell the phone direct or is it just me?

phone4u went bust in Uk as all carriers didnt renew their contracts , obviously to sell them directly. Could CPW be next.

The press at the time suggested that CPW could be next. The problem with Phones4U was that they were massively leveraged with debt and couldn't afford to drop their commission prices. CPW may not have that problem.

Walked in and got my 64GB 6 in O2 Clonmel without any sort preorder. No queue and they seem to have a few available for anyone interested. Although its mostly 16GB. they only had one iPhone plus.

Now to cancel with Carphone Warehouse!

I told them a few days ago about it and they made note of it but said they still couldn't guarantee it wouldn't be blocked but if it is just ring them and they'll sort it out. Pre-ordered an upgrade with Three last Friday. Doesn't look like it'll be delivered today - order still says Order Approved.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how they're allocating to people.
Colleague beside me just walked into Three store this morning and bought one there as an upgrade. If I knew I could do that, I wouldn't have bothered with the pre-order.

I just picked up a 64GB 6 in a Vodafone shop. I was porting from Meteor, and apparently this was music to their ears. If you are porting or a new customer, then stock availability isn't an issue. This is where they make money. If you are an existing customer looking to upgrade, there's a good chance you'll get fobbed off with "stock issues". There's no money in it for them with existing customers. Seems unfair... but true.

Meanwhile, I'm still wondering if Vodafone are going to charge my credit card for a failed attempt at purchasing it directly off them online yesterday.

This is totally at odds to what i've just been told by customer care on 1747.

I ordered last Friday morning. Customer care told me it will be 2-3 days from today. I asked how or why people were getting their phones today before me when I ordered as soon as I got the email. They said these people "could have ordered before" me.

Would be a huge bonus to have it for the weekend but will have to wait I guess!
