Nikon Coolpix S9600 - Impressive little camera!!

Just wanted to show ye the difference zoomed in and out!! Wow and a lovely shot of the Gull, which blew me away, as I never thought Id get this kind of a shot with a camera this small compared to my heavy Canon DSLR!!

Glad you had a great time! Looks like you found a great camera there too - it can be crazy trying to carry around the DSLR on holidays, quite heavy and bulky. Thing is though, if I leave mine at home I see others with theirs and I am so envious.. so I still end up bringing it!

I only spotted about 2 people carrying the DSLR's - and I felt sorry for them, it was 30 degrees plus and sweat pouring - without having a camera hanging off me:eek:

I'll go back again next year with my mini Nikon again!! :P
