You have to scan your value clubcard to get them.

This might depend on your store but I have plenty without scanning my value card.

Just check the date on it. They are only valid for 7 days from when you received it.

Aren't they usually only valid from the day after you receive it?

Yes, you can, in fact I use them every time I shop at Tesco, I only go to to Tesco if I have a spare Dunnes shop and spend voucher which is 2-3 times a month.

Mine are always valid from the day after I receive them for 10 days. I know this as I time my shopping around the dates on them :D

    Three coupons in one weekend?
    Examiner, Sindo, SunWorld.
Maybe the newspapers are desperate for circulation figure to improve

They did give them in a freesheet two months ago too

Some Tesco stores are refusing them for clothes and toys lately

    So do Dunnes.

Dunnes have always refused as its for groceries only but Tesco didn’t used to enforce it until recently

Dunnes vouchers are accepted for top-up, clothes, and home utensils etc., in some Tescos.

    Not in Tesco Maynooth.
Its strictly food and alcohol items only- no clothing, magazines, toys, home wear, utensils, plants/flowers or anything else- other than food and alcohol. Used to be that you could use them for anything at all- not anymore.........

My local Tesco never had an issue accepting these for any items!
