Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mario Rosenstock makes me angry. I very, very, very rarely get angry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,543 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

He does a good Roy Keane with that impression of Mumford and Sons.

In a minority but I don't find Rosenstock that funny.

Good impressions but scripts really bad....especially his awful TV show.

I can't help but find impressionists seriously creepy - what does it say about someone that they spend loads of time impersonating someone else.

The lack of laughter is embarrassing

His best impression was Dr David in Glenroe. Nobody did it better.

Yeah he was new and fresh when he started with Ian Dempsey in 1999 and still has his moments on radio but unfortunately his tv work is incredibly poor and I fear his time has passed

    In fairness Harry.

He was the worst Dr. ever.

He couldn't cure Fidelma from that Grá she had........:pac:

(Has he done a Roy Keane impersonation yet?)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,675 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

It makes for pretty poor watching when the interview, such as it is, is so obviously set up for a bunch of short impressions/jokes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,545 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

I also find that he seems to think that he's hilarious himself and comes across as very smug to me.

While we have been watching this gem of a show, somebody from Ireland won the Euromillions. In the words of Shaggy, it wasn't me

We would probably laugh so hard if the real Daniel O'Donnell said the word bollocks out loud one day.

You know Mario's not on form when he's doing the interview as himself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,545 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

RT asks about reviews and he just happens to have them on his phone.

Not a scripted interview or anything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,675 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

I heard him in an actual interview on Moncrieff a while ago in an actual conversation. Was pleasantly surprised.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

He's not ever sitting in the same room as me let alone the same plane.

    3 minute max head-wrecker.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,195 ✭✭✭bottlebrush

He's worse than that fella at the start of the show pretending to be Nidge

Jeepers Grey at this rate you'll have to buy all the seats on the flight yourself!

This is making me feel uncomfortable...it's as if he's staring right at me!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,766 ✭✭✭JM Skipton

Here is the story about it here, and no it wasn't me either. But congrats to the lucky winner.

As has been said previously, great at impressions but I don't find him funny.

And that 'the crowd goes wild' thing to get some applause really said it all.
