Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like this feature with iOS 8 but is there any technical reason why they don't allow this feature when you are not connected to a power source? It seems like a crazy decision to me and it would have been perfect for driving.

Battery life i presume though the Moto X is always listening and has great battery life. I think it has a low power chip dedicated to listening all the time however.

Works if you have the phone charging in the car. A lot of things are locked down so you still need to unlock the phone to use them but you can make calls check your appointments etc completely hands free.

Yep, the answer is battery life. An always-listening device sucks up a lot of battery power.

Makes sense. Don't see any scenario where I'd want to use Siri by calling out to her/him without it being docked.
