I need a new desktop PC and don't know what to buy. I need it to run Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS6, also do some video editing in the future. I have a monitor picked out, a DELL Ultrasharp 27inch. I was given a little bit of advice from a friend and this is what was suggested...

on the pc front, try to get the following > quad core, 16gb ram, 2gb graphics card and and SSD boot drive.. if you have that then the rest is less important...

16 gigs of RAM is a whopper - should have speed of about 100 miles an hour
