Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. I had never heard of this till now. Low and behold. Mine is misaligned by about .25 to .33 of a MM. I never even noticed it. In fact, Is it possible there moving inside?

Have you contacted Apple on it? Now I am thinking of sending mine back.

I don't think it's moving inside, and the camera seems to work just fine and seems aligned fine. I might take it back and see what they say. Cannot unsee :(

I've had my screen replaced twice due to the camera slipping or moving.

Pretty shoddy workmanship for such expensive devices.

Weird - my front facing camera is in the same position (iPhone 6). Though it seems to have no effect whatsoever on its usage.

As long as I think the camera is working as it should, I'm fine with it. Happy to know I've Applecare+ so if I think if needs replacing Apple will be on it.

You won't need to use AppleCare for that. It should fall under warranty

I don't think the workmen see too much of your money

Is that "my" money or are you talking in general?

I don't think it matters what kind of phone you own. None of the workers will see much of your money.

    What i have at home:

    iPhone 3GS
    iPhone 4S
    iPhone 5
    iPhone 5C
    HTC One M7

Also have an iPad 4th Gen.

My point is that when you pay a lot of dough for an item such as an iPhone, you would expect higher quality of workmanship.
In my opinion a camera which "moves" inside the casing is pretty poor and quality control must have been fairly lacking.

And I was just saying that I don't think it works that way. With a phone like the iPhone a lot of the cost is heading to California. The guys making it are in China. They probably get the same money to lineup the lens in the iphone as they do in a cheaper phone.

Yeah, but without it Apple will charge you 40 quid for the express replacement where you aren't without a phone for a week or so.

That's true, however i think my point still stands up. Apple pride themselves on their technology and devices and charge top dollar, yet dodgy built phones get through quality control etc.

C'est la vie I suppose. Market is king, if the demand is there, then who are we to argue.

Having a disaster with my iPhone 6 at the moment, audio jack has been broken since day one, trying to get it resolved with them for last 6 weeks. They keep sending empty boxes that don't arrive!

Latest one is stuck in UPS and apparently is 'incorrectly' addressed so they aren't even trying to deliver it and can't seem to contact them. Status says they can't contact receiver but they haven't even tried.

I have a 6 plus to use in the meantime, which I am finding great, except for phone calls!

How are 6 Plus users finding their phone?

I have had one since the end of October and have finally called it a day with it, threw it up on adverts for sale.

Is its large size the issue? I have a 6 and feel its fine size wise.

Not sure if I'd get used to the 6 plus.

Yup, its simply to big to be a day to day phone.

I'll be ordering a 6 as soon as I sell this.

I'm in the same boat as you. Have this 6 plus since last Friday and as much as it can be great in certain scenarios, too often I'm finding it a pain to use.

I guess the big thing is, I much prefer a one handed device.

    Getting the 6 (again)

Going to miss this battery life though

My son has one and he loves it. I like it myself tbh. How much are you looking for it? Is it locked to a network?

I love my 6 Plus, wouldn't change it for the world. My girlfriend hates it though, so can appreciate that it's not for everyone.

    It's not perfect mind you.
