mortgages TRS

Getting my mortgages with in the next few weeks. Is there anything I can get like the TRS ? I think this is done away with but it still shows the payments with TRS. Why would they still show it if it's done away with?

What still shows it?

As you say, it was already abolished and there is currently no similar scheme.

TRS still applies for those that purchased at the years around peak of the boom and will continue to apply till at least 31 December 2017. It might be phased out thereafter.

I would guess that your letter displays TRS by default but has a zero rate behind the calculation.
