Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all
I am looking for advice about installing 3 towel rads in a 2200 sq ft new build. I am having AtW heat pump with UFH on both floors. Cylinder wil be in hot press on 1 st floor. 2 bathrooms on 1st floor and 1 on ground floor. Is it possible to somehow incorporate the towel rads with this system as I don't want the electrical versions! Any advise appreciated!

Towel rails need heat. 50 degs. Underfloor heating about 33 deg avearge.

Of course you can. If you want to dry towels then 33 degrees is adequate (you are not heating the room!) but I would be running UFH hotter than that. If you have an electric element in the rail you can connect your surplus PV solar input so in summer you can heat/dry the towels for free when the HP is off if you have a simple controller. You use towels all year not just in winter.
