Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Narrow 2 - 1 win for United. It should be a tougher test than QPR anyway and Leicester have looked a decent team so far this season and a bit unlucky with some of their results.

A chance to make a big climb up the table, last season we'd feck it up but this season the new found style & confidence should see a 3-0 win without too much drama.

    Think he will start.

Same team as last week maybe bar tweak at back.

Think Ulloa will score but Utd should have too much. 3-1 win

  • A tricky match, hard call but we should pull the result. I'm calling 3-2

Rvp v falcoa...interesting to see who starts

    0-5, Di Maria hat trick.

Tough fixture make no mistake, better test of the team then last week certainly but should have enough quality to see us through hopefully

Should be a comprehensive win for utd this is were the lack of midweek Champions League games should make a difference

    3-1 United.

Think it will be a tough game for united in the opening twenty minutes, but once we get ahead we will dominate.

    Win by three goals.

    Gonna go with 3-0 Utd

Won't be an easy game for Utd. I'd fancy Falcao for RVP for the first 50/60mins. Same team as last week otherwise.

    Narrow win for United

For the first 30 minutes against QPR we looked devoid of ideas and that Di Maria goal was a godsend because it meant QPR had to come out and play us

If Leicester sit back I can see us having similar problems, going to be a tough test this

Nice to see all the Utd expectations being managed so well again.

Draws vrs Arsenal and Everton along with a great record last year would suggest that this won't be as straightforward as the 3, 4 and 5 goal victories being called here.

    No Mata is annoying

Very harsh on Mata, didn't deserve to be benched imo.

    Falcaooooo

No Mata is very interesting as he gives us that extra creativity.

Falcao, Rooney and RVP all start.

RvP should have been the one to make way for Falcao, I don't like this way of trying to fit in 3 strikers, Mata is far superior to Rooney at No 10.
I really hope this isn't the way forward...

Would have dropped van Persie and Evans instead, keeping Mata and bringing in Shaw.

    No Mata :(

Literally in the last 2mins I have gotten 2 PaddyPower messages with an offer based on Mata scoring anytime. Are they doing this deliberately to fool those who haven't seen that he's been benched yet or just a fail on their part?

In any case in interested to see the 3 lads up front and how they play. That imbalance could work in City's favour today

No Mata is disappointing. Based on form, RVP should not be playing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 846 ✭✭✭TheFullDuck

not happy with mata being dropped at all, should have been Van Persie. one more poor showing from him today though and I reckon Van Gaal will have to bench him

IMO we need Evans' experience. A back four of Raf - Blackett - Rojo - Shaw is too youthful.

  • Hmm no Mata...not sure if good idea

Would it not be a void bet if he didn't start? First goalscorer often is, not sure on anytime.

Val Gaal looks afraid to drop RVP, not a good sign!

No you're right, not for anytime but it is for first.

Thinking of LVG's history I dont think hes afraid of anything. I think he wants to to give him a chance to hit some form

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Was kinda predictable, especially for an away game.

I saw that offer yesterday, so blame LVG for going against consensus.
