Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The fact that we persist in pairing Lucas and Gerard when it clearly hasn't worked in years is probably the most worrying thing.

Can and allen are injured, thats why, if both were fit lucas would be back in liverpool.

Lallana on. Lucas hooked. Thank Christ.

Henderson and Gerrard are sufficient though. Lucas and Henderson would be fine too.

The 3 of them just ins't necessary to be honest.

Why the **** would you basically tell Borini to get lost by persistently trying to sell him and then play him ahead of Lambert?

Lambert has shown far more at this level than Borini has. I would nearly go as far as saying that Lambert, in about 20mins on the pitch, has shown more than Borini has in the Liverpool shirt.

I would guess because we haven't had the ball in their half a lot. Borini buzzes around a lot, dropping wide and deep, and pulls defenders around after him which can create some space, something Lambert doesn't really offer.

Our midfield has been ****, absolutely shocking in this game - without that bit of space opening up up front we're simply going to have no luck.

This isn't just that "movement" thing (which I think is retarded that people use it as a stick), this is simply trying to avoid two guys playing in exactly the same space, which happens with Balo and Lambert, especially when our midfield has proven completely inept at supporting the hold up play.

FFS Borini, the square ball was the one every time there.

It's like years ago when we'd bring on El Zhar and immeidately look a better team - it wasn't cause El Zhar was a good player, he was simply a natural wide player, and even if noone passed him the ball the fact that he was waiting out wide by the touchline meant someone had to cover him, opening space in the centre for Gerrard and Torres.

Theres nothing in that . He pulled his leg down as Borini gets there. Deflects from another poor decision to shoot from Borini though.

That's 3 West Ham players that could have gotten red cards.

Edit make that 4 players. ;)
