Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lots of injuries without contact going on there, but on the plus side players tend to recover from those extremely quickly.

Villa last week and West Ham this week are putting in some bad challenges. Is this going to be happening all season?

    Very entertaining game so far.

Ref has been very inconsistent and could yet play a big part in the outcome of the game.

That's 3 West Ham players that could have gotten red cards.

Edit make that 4 players. ;)

Not one even close to a red

It's a miracle that Borini managed to recover from that injury there.

Suarez taught him that before he left.

Referee doing his best to bring Liverpool back into it.

Any sniff of a penalty and I'd expect it to be given.

Poor decisions in both directions, but if a truly dodgy call occurs I think we all know what way it'll be going.

Poor defending and poor finish just there.

If you're winning games they tend not to be noticed as much.

Have to say Liverpool do look much better 2nd half, bringing Lallana on seems to have made a big difference.

Gerrard doesn't have the legs anymore. 3 games in 8 days is asking a bit much

Jesus christ lads, the abuse for Borini here is absoutely ridiculous!!

He got involved a hell of a lot more than most. Not a great game, but actually tried.

The nothing on Borini by the keeper you mean.

Never should have started, Rodgers needs to drop him. His undropable status is getting annoying now it has to be done. Injuries havnt helped though

Fair to say rodgers got his tactics wrong 2 games in a row.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Exactly, if the ref was so soft then why didn't he give that?

It was funny him trying to take the corner before he was subbed and then going off in a huff though.

He tried but didn't do enough. I expected a lot more.

He's playing as part of the attack against West Ham, if hes not involved in a lot theres something going seriously wrong. What he did with all that involvement left a lot to be desired.

West Ham down to 10 men so they'll just defend from here on.

    edit he's back.

Liverpool at the moment are very predictable. Even when we were tearing teams up we had difficulty breaking down teams who sit deep and press high up.

    This game though......just awful.

    Great tackle from Amalfitano there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

And there's an oul two footed challenge.

Looks like this game was won in the first 8 mins. Same against Villa. This is all too familiar.
