XBox One Console + Destiny + Titanfall: €379 (Argos)

Just back from the galway store, after about 4 phone call's and talking with various people from their end.

I had 2 print outs and still wouldnt give in. I pushed hard and couldnt get it there.

This was the two copys of destiny. Gutted...

Going emails support head office and see if that can help me,

Seems as though once they figured out their mistake they started to give people hassle.

Mine made some weird noises when I started it first, but now it seems to have bedded in nicely Will report back if that changes!

No hassle at all getting mine - a query on the offer itself but once I showed the email he was fine with it and so was manager.

Was going to hold it till Christmas but should I check it immediately for that noise issue?

I have a code for dundrum but it's coming in two orders one of which is due Friday and the two boxes of destiny are available to pick up until tomorrow.

PM if you want it. Received mine in liffey valley branch already.

Maybe, the girl behind the counter said a few people had been in yesterday so maybe he was already catching flak from above and didn't want to get caught again.

Not fussed about it really, I'm sure there'll be another bargain either side of Christmas.

Got mine with Titanfall and Destiny this evening. Had to show the manager the reservation email as the offer had expired but everything was grand because I'd had it reserved. Chuffed.

Don't think it would work. One thing is it has my email on the notification and the reserve number has already been used my me. Sorry mate.

Picked up my xbox one today. Argos got stock of Destiny in so i went and picked it up so questions asked over the deal just showed the email and was grand she even asked did i won't to change any of the games to something else.

But traded both copys into CEX and picked up Dead Rising 3 and Titanfall. Used the rest for ea access and Also picked up Fifa 15 with the 90 euros i got for the games so i am happy out with everything.

I can confirm that this was an internet error and the offer was not supposed to be shown. After speaking to the Galway store, I can confirm that after contacting our customer service department, it was the Store Manager who made the decision at her discretion. I apologise that your friend had this offer honoured in their local store, however, I am unable to override the Galway managers decision. Please accept my apologies for the disappointment this may cause.

I sold 2 copies and bought FIFA 15 and new game pad

Code's don't last for ever, its usually only reserved until end of business the day after the code was issued. Clearly you will need the email too as the offer is over and they know there was a mess up so they'll do their best not to honour it.

Thanks OP for the tip off. I just got my xbox and 2 destiny this afternoon in the city centre. I am home now waiting on FIFA to download from the US store, thanks for the tip there as well.

what did you have to give them? i only have the code and i rang them with it but they said it expired on the 23rd

I rang on Monday saying I wanted to pay then but it would not be in until Thursday. They just said to come in Thursday. I had the reservation number and I guess I was lucky as I spoke with the manager who ok'd it on Monday. It was not a straight forward collection today but I got it.

Like I said, codes expire. It didn't in Mickoc's case because the item wasn't available to collect when he reserved it. Plus he had the good sense to ring up.

Good thinking, I tried Monday too but they were closed when I rang, did this include 2x destiny's?

Yes it was 2 destinys. Thats why they were a bit unsure about it.

I have one of these with Destiny and Titanfall available for cost in Dublin city centre. Got mine on monday but had another reservation for a mate and he's pulled out so available now. All unopened and with receipt obviously

Tried returning titanfall today no luck
I was getting a headset and putting the price of the game towards it,had a good row with the manager even thought I was pushing my look.he took titanfall and gave me cod ghosts as he said I could change it to that

I purchased an xbox one on this deal and bought Fifa 15 off of the us store. On the first day I was able to access online features and play one of my friends in the online friendlies option.

I have been unable to play on any of the online features since. I get a message saying 'Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access this feature'

Anyone have any idea of a fix for this?

Try the Xbox forum, they might know.
