Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Switch bulbs over to verify bulb really works.

Don't know if it's completely accurate as obviously an American referring to the hood but....

    http://www.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_change_the_headlight_fuse_on_a_Ford_Focus
There are 4 headlight fuses in the Power Distribition Box under the hood. Sitting in the driver's seat, it is under the hood, right in front of you, next to the firewall.

They are numbers 16 (low beam left), 17 (low beam right), 26 (high beam left), 27 (high beam right).

To change them, pull the old one out (You might need needle nose pliers to do this.) Push the new one in.

would seem to support one fuse per lamp

Hope this helps you in the middle of fuse it should be broken from the links provided above it might be 15 amp fuse they are usually blue in colour so check them first

Hopefully it is a fuse and not the connection.

Fusebox should be accessible under the bonnet, if the fuse is blown the wire inside would be cut

If it's blown, replace it with one of the same color/Amperage. There should be a few spares in the fusebox but you need the car manual to identify which ones are the spares.
Also it's a pain to remove unless you have a removal tool, sometimes included in the fusebox - otherwise motor factors should have it.

The Qs is why did it blow?

Maybe let a mechanic fit it for you

Check there is no moisture around the connectors or in the headlamp unit.
