Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, anyone know how much the Navan to DCU 10 journey student ticket cost? And can you buy it on the bus or do you have to buy it online first and give them a code or something, because that's the way I've saw people doing it.. Thanks in advance.

Are you travelling the full distance Navan-DCU and do you have a www.studenttravelcard.ie (they have an in-built Leap Card) ? Do you expect to use other bus or rail services often? See: www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1380638477-Leap-Card-Brochure.pdf and http://www.buseireann.ie/inner.php?id=375

Note that here have been certain changes to child tickets, which appear to now be valid up to you 19th birthday - but you need the card.

Look at your options carefully. Depending on how often you travel, there may be different tickets that would suit you. http://www.buseireann.ie/inner.php?id=237

    http://www.busfare.co.uk/eireann.html
    Service 109A
    13.30 : Adult Single
    20.50 : Adult Return
    17.50 : Adult Day Return
    8.70 : Child Single
    13.50 : Child Return
    11.20 : Child Day Return
    10.60 : Student Single
    16.80 : Student Return
    60.00 : Adult 10 Journey
    33.00 : Child 10 Journey
    41.00 : Family Return
    53.00 : Student 10 Journey

Paper tickets bought on-line are 5% cheaper than list price.

Leap Cards have a different discount.

First you've got to know The Code to Cross the Road!

Seriously, what is it with lack of googling skills? It is amazing how my age group ever found out anything at all, if you asked a fellow in the playground about anything you'd get a weird and garbled answer, so most of us found out stuff with a phone book and a telephone.
