Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sim problem or poor signal?

I switched my iPhone 5 from O2 to tescomobile during the week.
My 3G keeps dropping to edge after a minute or two.
I done the airplane mode trick and it comes back on but then drops back to edge again.

This is only happening in some areas.
It happens at home where I also have O2 mobile wifi.
I am getting between 5 and 8 Mbps with my wifi.

When I turn the 3G on my phone the phone signal drops to either 1 bar or even no signal.
Speedtest gives me around 2 Mbps at first buts then it drops to edge and speedtest won't even work then.

I thought tesco use O2 masts so I presumed I would get similar speeds or does it not work like that?

Tesco are sending out a new sim but I doubt it will help.

it just sounds like you're in a poor signal area. Sort of borderline; strong enough to get the signal but weak enough to drop it.

Would there be that much difference between my O2 mobile and my tescomobile?

With O2 no problem with streaming, youtube or whatever,to tescomobile, not being able to open a web page?

There shouldn't be as tesco mobile use the o2 network as they don't have their own.

Could we rule out sim problem as its ok in some areas?
