Appeal on VRT repayment for disabled drivers?

Hi, Was wondering if anyone here has ever appealed the amount repaid by VRT for a disabled driver? If so, which documentation should be added? While the Revenue VRT calculator doesn't have the exact spec purchased, I found out the value refunded was lower than for the spec under it (exact same engine, emissions, etc) TIA!
