Best Dublin City Beard Barber!?

So I've a fairly hefty chin strap going. 6 or 7 months of growth, about 3 inches off the face. I'm very attached to it, literally / figuratively, the works.

But it's getting unruly. I've been trimming on and off for the last few months but I'm only making a hash of the shape of it.

Is there ANYWHERE in Dublin that actually knows how to scissors trim a beard and shape it? I've tried just the Waldorf so far and although they always do a great haircut, the beard trim was not up to snuff in my (probably over sensitive) opinion.

I need a place that actually fluffs out the beard and just takes the tips off with a scissors, slowly but surely working it in to shape. No electric trimmers allowed.

    Any thoughts my bearded brethren?

Aaaanybody? If I leave it much longer the beard will have taken over my entire face. It's colonising my cheek bones as I type and creeping slowly North.

No one in town that I know of will do a scissor trim. I find Waldorfs do great hair cuts, and good beard trims, but they cater to a single style of beard and not much else. I'd suggest just letting it grow, in the mean time there are more are more online resources for good beard maintenance.

The following are excellent, the YT channels provide plenty of beard resources, just bear in mind they're also trying to sell you something.

If you don't ask, you don't get. My barber has done a scissor trim a few times. Sometimes I just want it tidied up and he'll do that. I specifically asked as the electric trimmer is more severe and tbh I can do that myself at home.

Lads, I need a beard trim. Is the Turkish Barbers mentioned above this one?

I goto the Turkish Barbers on the corner of Holles Street here. Beard trim cost me a fiver last time I was there, and did a good job.

Got a haircut and hot towel shave on Saturday in Sam's Barbers on the Quays.

The lads were lovely and while the haircut is pretty good, there were little patches where I could feel rough after the shave. Can't say I'd be going back for another shave, and certainly not for €30 or so.

+1 from me, had a beard trim there yesterday and while I'm no expert, I'm certainly very pleased with the trim. Did exactly what I wanted, even if I wasn't very clear with what I asked!
