Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Disregard!

Oh I get you now had to read it a few times for some reason I thought you said you fixed the stuff yourself but said you leave it to the professionals but get you now. Tbh I'm cautious enough what I go at and know my limits. Still it's nice to be able to do the basics rather than having to bring it to a mechanic everytime for every little thing.

Neighbours wipers are dire, so bad that before he changed them the last time, they had several arc shaped scrapes gone into the windscreen, that won't come out. The ones he has now are frigged too, they screech each and every time they wipe, so annoying. I tell him that they need changing, he goes, sure they passed the NCT so they're fine. His NCT was last June. God, some people

Every car I bought has come with sh!t wiper blades which says a lot about how often people change them. I got a set of Vw ones 9 months ago when I first got the golf front and rear and there still perfect. I'm not sure how often you are actually supposed to change I suppose it depends on condition.

I got Ford ones for mine (focus)about 6 weeks ago. Not flat blade ones, they couldn't get them, and I don't find them to be good at all, missing pieces and leaving streaks.

I'm not sure on them at all, the welded diff will be removed and replaced with a nice m3 lsd. Welded is too hard on a daily!

Probably more the activity that welding the diff causes, especially in the wrong hands imo.
But I think I've made my opinion on that clear in the other thread so I think the less said the better - so Ill leave it to the rust of you.

I was also suprised the average car age in Ireland is 9 odd years I thought it would be a bit younger than that. Even considering 10 owners which is still a lot there is over 9500 cars with 10 owners.

Got a full diagnostic done on the car with INPA and some other form of magic. 5 sensors have to be replaced which isn't too bad, there's a misfire in cylinder 6 requiring a coil so that's a cheap fix for the rough idle and the brake light switch was the other issue, this should solve the CC issue, already had this bought.

Other than that it seems to be perfect.
