Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's all because of the C :pac:

I do really like my German plates but there's no dashes or the county in Irish plus, pressed Irish plates do still look good.

Anyone else tried the 3D Tuning app on android and I assume ios? Loads of cars by the look of it, suitably impressed by the inclusion of a 155.

Also seen a nice silver r33gtr in the town centre and two clean m3s, red e36 and grey e46...no pics sorry as they were all driving around same as me:-)

I was just reading this article

What's with the advice to have cat litter in your car?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,478 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

You put it in front of the cars wheels if you get stuck.

Nothing to do with the article but it reminds me of last week, my aunt bought a bag of cat litter thinking it was cat food. Had it out in the food bowl and everything. Lord, I couldn't stop laughing!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,569 ✭✭✭Special Circumstances

    "cat litter in their boots"
You just know someone has gotten that all wrong and has really gritty uncomfortable footwear right now...

Edit - possible suspect already identified, sorry Noccy's aunt...

    Death,
    Taxes,
    The Monday back after Christmas.

I don't think I'm on a high enough floor of the building to guarantee death by jumping out the window.

I'm off today at last. Haven't had more than a day off since last year!

Although Friday wasn't good news :(

    - CV joint for the 320Ci needed
    - Alloy needs to be straightened out (done)
    - Two new tyres for the front! (I think I may have been given dodgy tyres!)
    - Few problems with the 750i
    - Wasn't paid for last year's unused holidays which ruined my financials for this week.
    - And I'm single.

I'd a week off, then counting the weekends I had a total of 9 days away from the place.
Came in this morning and saw the usual faces and almost thought "fcuk this I'm going home".

I finished the evening of the 23rd and was back for the morning of the 30th.
Just felt like a long weekend :(

I've been a passenger in a car all day. Noticed lots of things that I normally don't notice driving.

•Even though a certain community in rathkeale love their high powered motors, they also love The Ford S Max. I've seen at least 10 of them today. Mostly white.

•There are far too many 151 Dacia Dusters in Limerick.

•Petrol can be got at 1.249 now! Diesel at 1.199.

•A 151 bin lorry can look about 10 years older after only a few days of use.

Was going to do my faulty ignition coil today until I went down to get one and some inconsiderate jerk decided to buy them all this morning :pac:

New bonnet badge and wipers on now though, wipers make a world of difference.

Hey man didn't realise you had one :)

    1. If i could find m tech bumpers front and back I'd be laughing.

    2. Standard 323/325 exhaust.

    3. Cream leather door cards and two clean front seats.

You better not be going out of your way man!
