Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it just me or does anyone else on here also dislike this term ?

The term was an invention of the early 1980s. The reason ? So that Christy Ring and John Doyle would still be classed as having more All-Ireland medals than Noel Skehan.

The truth in my eyes is that as part of the panels, Noel Skehan has 9 Celtic crosses in his arse pocket. No amount of re-writing history can change this fact. I cannot think of another sport were this rubbish line of thinking is peddled.

I'd tend to agree, given that somebody who comes on for the last two minutes and never touches the ball will be said to have won it on the field of play
