Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shaping up to be a good team.

Who would they play against ?

Can't believe no-one has chosen the most famous ginger of them all - Anthony Finnerty!

He's still living off his AI final miss of 1989 for which he used to say himself he will always be remembered, more so than if Mayo won the AI.

Shaping up to be a good team.

Who would they play against ?

    Bald players? Or bearded players?

Eoin Liston would be first on the teamsheet for the latter.

    Declan Darcy - Dublin/Leitrim
    Dessie Barry - Longford
    Redmond Barry - Wexford (sorry!)

    Baldies...
    Peter Canavan
    Ambrose Rodgers snr.

Can't really think of too many baldies apart from Brian Stynes.

    Galvin then,

Could get the Mcmahon brothers to grow the beards

Michael Collins had a great beard when he played for Mayo at left half back I think.

    Not in good taste.

    You're confusing him with Jim.

Brian was bald for most of his career.

    John Quane Limerick midfield

I think Charlie h to 2, Kieran Fitz to 3, dec Bonnar in for johnny buck, serious team shaping up alright. They could play the ol favourites "best team to never win an AI" etc

Tony McTague has to be in that team. Also perhaps The Red Collier from Meath should be on it aswell.

Peader Andrews has red hair not Paddy.
