Hello All I was wondering if anybody on here has been successful at extending the activation of their Canada IEC visa. I currently need to extend mine by May 2015 but won't be available to move then. Hello All

I was wondering if anybody on here has been successful at extending the activation of their Canada IEC visa. I currently need to extend mine by May 2015 but won't be available to move then.

I am aware that I can make a trip over just to activate and then come back later but just checking to see if anybody extended theirs to give them more time which would be preferable to having to lose valuable months on my visa and save on cost of an extra trip.

I doubt it can be extended. AFAIK you get 1 year exactly to activate the visa once you're granted the POE letter, date of expiration is on the letter. One year is pretty generous though IMO!
