Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Doesn't Windows recognise an SSD and do that for you?

No. You need to go into Control panel > Administrative tools > Defragment and optimize drives and turn off defragging.

Will be fixed in next FW in middle of next month.

The firmware update for the Samsung Evo SSD is now available to download from the Samsung support site scroll down to "Samsung SSD 840 EVO Performance Restoration Software"

Only the Windows version is so far available, Mac and Linux versions coming at the end of the month.

Looks like it is just a software not new firmware.

Seems like a good deal, I'm not sure about intel ssd's though. I got a samsung 840 SSD and it's great. Got it for 120 on pixmania.

Why are you not sure about Intel SSD's? Reliability should be the most important factor in a hard drive....
