Hunting for a large gold bag

Boardlings, come to my aid!

I am on the hunt for a nice BIG squashy shoulder bag in gold. Not real gold, obviously. Or bronzey/metallic etc would do.
This is because I am a dame who always carries with her the survival supplies for a week on a desert island, and a little purse just won't do. Even at weddings or dressy-up events, I always miss whatever I haven't got with me.

So instead of suffering without my essential kit, or lugging my usual haversack along, I think the right answer is a handsome big bag in some dressy neutral like gold that will go with most of my posh outfits.

But, the internet is not being helpful and the few I have found are very dear.

Has anyone spotted something of the sort on the high street, or even in a charity shop LOL?

I had in mind a ceiling of fifty euro. And second-hand would be fine.

TK Maxx is always worth a try.

If you're in or around Limerick, there are 2 relatively new accessories shops on Cruises Street that would be well worth a look, and well within budget. One is beside Boots and it's called Glitzy Bitz; the other is beside Ann Summers and I can't remember the name

TK Maxx is worth a look. Ebay is worth a look as well. Maybe look at some beach/pool bags as often they have lovely gold colour bags. Keep your eye on the makeup counter in places like boots/debenhams/BTs etc. They often have promotions with samples with a bag. I got a couple of beautiful bags from Lancome/Elizabeth Arden etc. It might be worth a look if your have to stock up on makeup/skin care anyway.
