    Hi all,

    Looking for some advice... I am looking for a budget CCTV system, and have come across the following (removed the www.):

    Will these be suitable for home CCTV - will they give a good picture?

    If you want good quality images I would recommend you up your budget and go for an IP system. With CCTV there is no cheap good quality systems. You will always get what you pay for.

    I`m in the same boat man, but from your links, all those camera are CMOS lenses and around 700 ish TVL.

    From what I`ve read if you want better quality for around the same price, look for CCD lenses and at least 1000TVL.

    I`m also on a tight budget but would like the best I could get.

    Edit: I just came across this deal,http://www.aliexpress.com/item/HOME-CCTV-System-8CH-H-264-CCTV-DVR-4PCS-Outdoor-IR-480tvl-CCTV-Camera-System-DVR/627642561.html has anyone bought from the site?
    The prices are way better than here.
