I went into my local branch last week as my card has been malfunctioning with certain machines (not reading properly). They ordered a new card and my exisiting has since stopped working with all machines. This was last Thursday and I have been without banking services since then. I find this unacceptable as I have no way of accessing my money. Would you be able to give me any help/insight into when my new card will arrive?

    Hi minion35

Thanks for coming to us here today.

A replacement Visa Debit Card is usually received to the address on your account within 5-6 working days.

While we have no account access here to check status on card, we would certainly suggest calling Bank of Ireland 365, a colleague can look into this for you.

    Our contact numbers are 0818 365 365 / 00353 140 44000

Our colleagues are available Monday-Friday 8 am -12 midnight, weekends and Bank Holidays 9 am -6 pm.

We're not sure if it's possible for you to call into a branch today with photo ID, either passport or driving licence, you could access the cash from your account at the counter.

If you can visit a branch, the locations and times of opening can be found here

If we can be of further help, please let us know. We do hope the card arrives shortly for you.

    Thanks
    Alison
