I was recently caught with XXX and XXX in Galway.

I was hoping that someone here could recommend any competent and reliable lawyers.

Contact a solicitor in your area & they will be able to recommend a barrister specializing in criminal law. I doubt if you'll get too many recommendations from posters here as it would imply that they may have been subject to criminal proceedings themselves.
