Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why not? Keeper handled outside the box.

And why is that a red card?

Well done lads holding on after you captain did that.

    Delighted with the 3 points.

3 points! 3 points from 1 game. And our captain has eased LVG's concerns on who to pick up front for at least 3 games. What a team player.

As annoyed as I am at Rooney for being so mindless and putting us under pressure for that length of time. I don't think it will do any of that defence ANY harm to have dealt with that for 30 minutes.

In fairness utd took about 2 minutes to take the free kick and they made a sub.

  • Yessss three points get in..

Better still rivals dropping points, its been a good weekend

Glad we managed to hold out in the end

Full time... after close to six minutes injury time!

Happy with the points, appalled with the performance. It was very Moyes-esque, especially after going down to 10 men.

In fairness there was plenty of stoppages during injury time.

Win is a win. Huge for United in these circumstances.

Feels like points dropped there which is strange in OT. An awful first 30 minutes cost us.
Though a win against QPR next week would be much more welcome than a point today.

What United were you watching last year? :pac:

In all honesty once Rooney got sent off West Ham dominated, it was a red card though so can't complain. United will need time to adapt with the new players and managerial staff but at the end of the day 3 points against a West Ham that are much improved while playing most of the second half with 10 men. I'm sure most United fans will take that.

Mc nail did very well for his debut, looked better than evans and smalling in the games they've played. Some competition is badly needed for the centre back spots.

It's a funny old table to look at right this moment!

Great to get a win down, tense as it was!

McNair and Rafael were excellent. Shocked that West Ham didn't score again.
I let out a despairing roar and ran upstairs to the jacks when Nolan put the ball in the net, I didn't realise it was ruled out for a few minutes after I came back down :pac:

Rafael MOTM for Setanta. I would have gone Herrera, but would have had Rafael in second.

My tv froze as the ball was in and the score had changed to 2-2...sat there for 2 minutes with my head in my hands and when it came back the score was 2-1, hadn't a clue what happened ha!
