Having trouble with setting up BlueBall

    Hi all. I want start my own podcast and bought a second hand blue ball. I plug it in and it says "USB Composite device is an older usb device and might not work with USB 3.0"

    I have three USB ports on my laptop and get the same message. I not good with stuff like this and looking for any help. If any knows what to do be great help, thank you very much.

    2.0 is compatible with 3.0 both ways so it will be fine - sounds like u need to go onto blue's website and download the newest drivers - whatever windows is detecting it's giving you grief. That said the driver likely still works - check the "recording sources" in your sound control if it's not picking up the mic. Keep us updated!

    Thanks J big fan of OSW. Updated drivers and get it working. Hope to record two at the weekend (One a wrestling one and "Current" events one.) thanks again J.
