usb key flash drive) wont work ?

Hello, i bought a new usb key and it wont work, (an older usb key will work) it is coming up that the driver for the key isn't installed? i have tried going into settings but i cant solve this. if anybody could give me any advice on this please, i would be grateful.

Go into device manager and see if you have anything with a yellow exclamation mark. Right click on any problem devices and remove/uninstall. Reboot and try the usb key again.

Thanks Degsie, i tried that too, but no luck. 2 different brand new usb s wont work, an older one will, and an even older one than that wont work so , idont know ?
