Conservatory-help/hindrance to new extension?

We have a twelve year old 3 bed-semi and are currently exploring the costs involved for rear extension of about 25 square meters. From searching existing threads I have been able to get a wealth of information from planning to costs, however there is one area I am unable to get a proper guide on. (see below)

Our current house was built approx 2001 and has a conservatory attached, as requested by the first owners as part of the build. This is approximately 12 sqm and is of dwarf walled construction type (one solid full height wall separate to boundary wall).

The extension will replace the conservatory and extend the kitchen outwards squaring off the area. Is the existing conservatory groundwork (foundation/wall) likely to be a help or hindrance from a cost point of view?

    Many thanks
