Really? Both of them have sung their songs already this series. Nothing we haven't seen before from them.

I didn't see either of their auditions so it'll be new to me at least. :D

    Walk like an egyptian:D

Stevie's choice is really predictable - except for the egyptian costume? I think this is the hardest week to predict because on one hand your sure stevie will go and with a double elimination stereo kicks are the next worst imo - but it's the point in the show where there could be a shock exit - I actually like Fleur and Ben but I don't think they have the public behind them (least not Fleur)

I think the song choices are pretty poor really - it's a pity noone looked at Elton's back catalogue a little closer - Sweet Painted Lady et al. He had some great songs that weren't big hits - and tbh Houston's big numbers bore me.

Fleur East's family to join her on stage for tonight’s X Factor performance

“It’s about women and celebrating that,” Fleur says as her sister, mum, auntie and more will take to the stage for her rendition of Whitney Houston’s I’m Every Woman

What next in the race to crown Fleur the winner :D

    oh cringe!!!!!

They really are trying so hard to win her the public's affection. Makes me think she must not be doing too well in the votes? I know she hasn't been in the bottom two, but for all we know she could be coming third last every week.

It may be cringeworthy. But I reckon that's an awful lot of extra pressure to put on a performer imagine having to sing with yer ma on the stage - I said it before Fleur is a consistent performer - but doesn't seem to have the public backing - I think that's a shame because out of the contestants left she's the only one who appears to have what it takes to have a good career in the business.

Oh sure - I'm not really looking at Fleur at all. More Simon and the producers trying every trick they can to get her far :D Possibly.

Yeah,if anything that could go against her. The public don't like being manipulated & can see through these tactics (like Jay & his grandad's suit last week!)

Been looking at all the "Favourites Polls" on Digital Spy & OTY are running away with it,believe it or not! Hooray! :-)

Don't think it does be fully confirmed until the early hours later tonight, they changed it last week last minute.

Fleurs songs a good too.Andrea singing Kanye West cant wait for that one.

    Really hope Andrea gets Kanye.

Stereo kicks really picked awful songs.

If I could vote, I'd choose:

    Fleur - Family Portrait
Ben - You Are So Beautiful
Stereo Kicks - Run (but it's NOT a Leona Lewis song ! Grrrr)
Lauren - Don't You Worry Child
    Andrea - Heartless

Agreed with all of the above! Actually I'd like either Joe Cocker song for Ben, not picky.
And I have no idea what Kanye West song that is but I want it just to hear Andrea do Kanye. :D

How's that for a change of scene for Andrea?? Talk about out of his comfort zone - and then some!

No the contestants (or producers :p) picked them. The public decides what they sing.

    I'd pick...

Right there with you. Best songs from that list.

Oh I do know that one! It's the Gay Fish one from South Park :D

Seriously out of his comfort zone so I'd love to see him try it!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,883 ✭✭✭MelanieC

I hope SK do Against All Odds, best of a bad lot. The other two have been done to death on The X Factor. Something In The Air would've been a better Phil Collins one tho.

I think Ben is cheating a bit by having two songs from Joe Cocker in his three. Obviously his forte. He's hedging his bets.

    Some decent choices in there...
    I'd pick:

    Andrea - Heartless

    Fleur - Family Portrait

Ben - With A Little Help From My Friends

    Lauren - Ain't Nobody

Stereo Kicks - Fix You (I'd actually rather see them do Run, but only if Snow Patrol start getting their due credit - sick of them banging on about Leona Lewis on this bloody show)

Presume it will be more like The Fray's version, but it will still be a bit of a change which he desperately needs

I see one of Lauren's choices is One Direction... had anyone done one of their songs on the live shows before? Can't remember.
