Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long after plastering should I wait before applying sealer and painting?

Its inside a large garage and the plaster is sand & cement.

Before painting do I use a sealer or primer?

    Thanks!

You need to apply a 'mist' coat first. Watered down emulsion or masonry paint (roughly 50/50 mix) should be fine as a 'primer', then paint as normal. Prepare for splatter, it is messy.
How long to wait depends on conditions, it should be fully dried out, no damp patches at all.
Personally I wouldn't go near it for 3 or 4 weeks, but I have seen painters paint it earlier.

    Great thanks for that.

Now what about colour? one thought is green floor and beige walls, earthy tones.

Other option is this one, I found on a US website, its a long way from grey and white!
