    Hi

Font size has gone to miniscule in Outlook express making it unable to be read. Font size says Tahoma 10, which it clearly isn't. Went through settings and unable to apply any changes, yet the font size within settings is fine. Word, excel etc., is all ok.

    Any ideas?

    This might help.

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-ie/outlook-help/change-the-default-font-or-text-color-for-email-messages-HA010356299.aspx#BM3
Restore the initial default font style options

To restore the font to the default setting of 11-point Calibri, do the following:

    Click the File tab.
    Click Options.
    Click Mail.
Under Compose messages, click Stationery and Fonts.
On the Personal Stationery tab, under New mail messages, click Font.
On the Font tab, under Font, click the entry +Body.
    Under Font style, click Regular.
    Under Size, click 11.
Click OK on the Font, the Signatures and Stationery, and the Outlook Options dialog boxes.

Thanks for that but have tried all that but not the problem. How do you zoom in and out?

Ctrl plus the + key. Or ctrl + mouse wheel up/down.

Ctrl + 0 reverts to original size.

Sorry, just read there that you're using Outlook Express.

    Would this help?

When you compose an e-mail or newsgroup message in Outlook Express, the default font is Arial, the font size is 10 point, and the font color is black. To change the font settings, follow the steps in the appropriate section below:

    Outlook Express 4.0, 4.01

In Outlook Express, click Stationery on the Tools menu.
To change the font settings for e-mail messages, click the Mail tab, and then click Font Settings.
Change the appropriate font settings, and then click OK.
To change the font settings for newsgroup messages, click the News tab, and then click Font Settings.
Change the appropriate font settings, click OK, and then click OK.

    Outlook Express 5

In Outlook Express, click Options on the Tools menu.
On the Compose tab, click Font Settings.
Change the appropriate font settings, and then click OK.
To change the font settings for newsgroup messages, click the News tab, and then click Font Settings.
Change the appropriate font settings, click OK, and then click OK.
