Can anyone recommend somewhere for a family party, a good hotel or restaurant but where they have a private dining area for around 10 adults. Not necessarily a separate room but maybe just annexed off and private-ish.

Anywhere around Drogheda would be great, Louth or Meath..

    Thanks :)

    Hi,

Darver Castle have a small function room downstairs, we used it for our daughters christening, it was great, food was amazing. There is a small bar in the room, only negative was the owner insisted we pay €200 to have the bar open, we knew most people attending the christening were driving and there would be zero use for the bar. Wine with the meal would have been sufficient, but they insisted. Anyway we still went with it, and it was great.

Eno restaurant in Dundalk have a room upstairs, I think you can book it for private functions. Also the Windsor and Century are both restaurant that have a number of rooms, so there may be one to suits your group size in either of these.

Also Ballymac Hotel, have some small rooms you can use, but when we priced it it was expensive.
    Enjoy.

50 euro charge on sarsfield room, was going to have a meeting there -as we always do- and was asked for 50 euro for the use of the room. Was never charged before
