Delay in Getting Title Deeds to solicitor

    Hi,
    I am sale agreed on a house, mortgage is in place and surveys are done. I am now waiting for the contracts to be sorted by the solicitors. A situation as arisen where the sellers mortgage company went out of business and the debt was sold to another company. They are having difficulty in getting the Title Deeds to the solicitors in order for the contracts to be completed.

    Has anyone ever experienced this? What kind of delay could I be looking at?
