Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am about to start commuting form Carlow Town to Waterford IT for four days in some weeks and 3 days for another weeks from tommorrow. I am doing MSc in construction project managment over there and I am wondering if any body doing the same we can commute together in one car.

Other than that, what is the best way to get Waterford from Carlow town cheaper off course?

First train arrives at 09.40, Last trains at 14.50, 16.00**, 18.25

Weekly Student ticket with Irish Rail is €74, monthly is €237 (better value). Returns are 17.20

    ** Friday/Saturday only

First bus arrives at 09.50 (JJ Kavanagh) also goes to WIT so 09.55, 10.00 Bus E.

Not sure how reliable the timetables are but Bus E charge 13.50 return or 41 (10 journey)

Thanks Jamie, I need to be there by 9.00 in some days. Also from the train station to the WIT. Or from Bus Eirenn Stop to the WIT how is that will work?

It is look like I need to find someone in the same course or someone have similar time table and share car together because JJ Kavanagh the only Bus goes to the IT in the morning only once at 9.55 am and not picking people from there to return so you have to find another transport within the city to get the bus stop...is look like lots of hassle this way. Do you have any other idea? Thanks folks

Go to the getthere.ie website, there is a person on there offering a car-share to Waterford FAS leaving Carlow at 7am and returning from Waterford at 4pm
