Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's 3 penalties Ludogorets have given away in 2 CL games.

Alan Smith really does not like anything Balotelli does.

I'd love to boot Alan Smith up the hole

It looked like a shotgun shell to me.

****'s sake. Liverpool are very ordinary.

George Hamiltion is being a complete and utter grouch as well.

I'll never understand why player shoot from there like Manquillo did. If it went in it'd make the Everton goal at the weekend look like a tap in.

Did you just ask that because you knew they had just equalised?

Perhaps I'm being too cynical though.

Basle look like they're as bad as Liverpool....

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

George Hamilton is being totally disrespectful to Rodgers and Liverpool.

Do people think if City or Chelsea were playing Basel tonight we would be seeing them boss the game playing flowing football.

Experience of the CL should tell us otherwise

Markovic looking a bit more confident tonight.

Jim Beglin a bit clueless as to who is and is not playing well so far.

You say that like you were expecting a thumping win before the game? Surely not?

Henderson's shot going a mile wide anyways.

Fantastic ball by Coutinho and Sterling f*cks up

Sterling is having a stinker. Just giving the ball away as soo as he gets it.

We're getting in some very good positions but no end product. It's very frustrating.

It's an overused saying at this stage but Sturridge cant come back quick enough

Mig and his positioning keeping us in a game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

    Embarrassing defending

Coutinho for me is the most frustrating player ever.

Basel are very well drilled with that back line, George Graham would be proud.

He doing well, I can see why he can be a useful addition but tonight the front 4 are all wrong - Sterling needs moving central. Coutinho needs to drop deeper and let Markovic have a free role as the highest runner

    Gerrard
    Hendo---Cout
    Sterling
    Marko
    Balotelli

We are going to concede a goal from our left back position. I have no doubt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Give Sterling his 100k a week that might wake him up.

KingShankly making Mr Alan look like Richard Simmons at the moment.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,414 ✭✭✭Lord Trollington

Basel playing a very high line and Mario is making some clever runs in behind, we havent tried to pick him out once with a through ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,121 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Sterling to either be subbed at halftime or given a shoe up the hole.

    Sterling off now please

    That would be ridiculous.

He's by far our best attacker despite having an average game.

    You really do hate him!!

Liverpool are seeing plenty of the ball in the final third but look so blunt up front. That Basel defence isn't up to much yet still don't look all that threatened.
