They better not be risking it for a game like this.

My thoughts exactly, if he is out for any length of time we are in trouble

And Im out, another poor pass/drop by Gronk, didnt see it properly first time but it looked low

Really? You don't trust the coaching and medical staff? Is that it?

You need to relax a bit.

Your constant arguing with people is wearing pretty thin around here these days, and I doubt I'm the only one who thinks that.

Now is the right time to withdraw Revis.

And that I need Dalton to pass 50 odd yards more HAS NOTHING to do with that. I promise.

Tbh, I'm not even going to respond to it.

Nice to see us forcing turnovers again - sorely missed against the Chiefs.

    Dobson sighting!

    Dobson is alive:eek:

The Bengals receivers clearly had a big bet on Dalton going for under 238 yards. It's the only explanation that makes any sense at this point.

Love Develin, old school, battering ram of a Fullback.

I would agree but for Fantasy purposes. I was hoping for some garbage time points. Play day fantasy on fanduel and on par for some winnings right now but tomorrows game could change that now Dalton hasn't done much.

The moment the Bengals put on Campbell he gets a 38 yarder that was about 35 yards YAC. I needed just 35 more with Dalton who the WRs could drop the ball or fumble away afterwards quickly enough.

Only a tenner bet, but I still hope they go 0-12 from here on out, because I'm a little vindictive like that! :pac:

Asking a question is now arguing according to the esteemed JaMarcusHustle.

I've been accused of having goggles on, living in the past and all sorts of things over the past few weeks. Is this a parting shot now because I believed while some of you lost faith?

We all lost faith? Absolutely hilarious. There you go putting words in all our mouths again. We all had concerns and the way the Pats have played we were all within our right to be concerned. But hey you keep making it out that you were the only one right and we were all wrong. S*** W*****

I actually haven't argued with you over our form at all actually. The only thing I argued with you over was when I made a joke about Belichick and technology. You went on a rant about how he's ahead of the curve. I posted a quote from Bill which actually agreed with what I said and you chose to ignore it. So there's that.

I'm just sick of you stirring crap here. The common denominator of every argument on here lately has been you. Do you not get sick of it?

I didn't go on a rant, I just gave you my opinion on it which just happened to differ completely from yours.

In the least surprising news following the week 5 matches; Alex Henery has been released.
Lions are going to be working out a few kickers before signing one though, so its no done deal that it will be Matt Prater suiting up for next Sunday.

Brandon Marshall got flagged for this great block yesterday. I hope this is just an adjustment season for the refs and they'll sit down in the off-season and figure out what is and what isn't a penalty, because it looks like they don't even know sometimes. This one in particular is bullsh*t. If things like this become the norm then I don't know how much longer I can watch the NFL.

They didn't even get the player who had done nothing wrong correct.

There have been some horrendous calls all around. The GB/CHI game was littered with them, like tapping Cutlers shoulder and helmet after he said being unnecessary roughness (not an exaggeration either, the defender literally ran by and tapped him just to have contact when down), or two holding penalties that were anything but (ESPECIALLY the first) on Corey Linsley a little later. My bias has wiped them from my mind :p but there were a number of penalties on the Bears in that same game that not "soft" penalties because they were not penalties at all.

Last night in the CHI/CAR game there was a facepalm penalty on a Panthers lineman for shoving a Bears defender in the shoulder (as in a legit block, not after the play or anything).

The CIN/NE game had a number of farcical bad calls, like the Bengals having to tell the refs that Brady throwing the ball way out of bounds and near Mo receivers while still in the pocket was indeed grounding, or Belichick having to tell the refs that a roughness penalty on Gronkowski (for a one handed shove on a player while both were away down, embarrassing to say the least in itself) is a 15 yard penalty but still results in 1st and 10, not 1st and 25.

Obviously a lot of calls like pass interference (where the refs are explicitly instructed to completely favour the offense) and holding can be open to interpretation and inconsistent also, but a lot of the above are clear, basic rules that just seem to show either a lack of an understanding of the laws of the game (which would be truly horrifying) or more likely a lack of awareness and concentration, as well as a lack of convictions from the officials, and it's simply just not good enough.

lmfao a blindside block when the blocked player was the one running towards him, alright lads, someone bring back the refs from the fail mary game if these are the paid pro refs!

I suppose there is zero chance of the skins winning tonight, anyone watching it btw?

I'll be watching it and I'll be rooting for the Redskins. Whether I stick with it though depends on what kind of game it is.

I think the Hawks win, but I think the Skins play better and keep it closer then people seem to think, I would be backing them on the spread anyway, fancy them to keep it to within a Td anyway

Yeah I can see the Redskins keeping it to within a score even though I've backed Seattle -7 earlier in the week. Seattle on the road are a different beast to playing at CenturyLink. Think they only really hammered Atlanta on the road last year.

No sign of beat mode. He must have got injured in warm-ups but its still so easy for the Seahawks, already 7-0.

Nice scoring drive to start off by the Seahawks. Wilson with a few smart plays.

Poor defense from the Redskins, way too easy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭me89

    That just looked so easy.

    this could be painful

All short passes by Cousins, not going downfield at all. Only a matter of time before there is a pick, and very possibly a pick six, if he keeps doing that.

Popped a tenner on Seahawks -5.5 and under 45.5 points just now for a bit of entertainment at 9/4. Not holding my breath on it or anything, but I see the Seahawks gradually smothering this and running a lot of clock down in the second half.

Only worry is the non-appearance of beast-mode. Hopefully its nothing serious and we see him on this drive.

I just clicked the previous page by accident and as its loading I see the first couple of words 'great play by Ridley' and I'm here smiling thinking about how enjoyable that was last night.:)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Oh completely, I just think they are more likely to point up the middle for 4-7 yards a go than to try go outside for 15 yard gains. I will need the Redskins defence to do better than that first drive however.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

    Yup, Lynch looks ok. :)

Edit: Wilson is killing it early on with his running.

This is embarrassing, giving up up 80 scrambling yards in 9 minutes. Wilson might well be going for Kaepernick's record from the GB playoffs game at this rate.

What's even worse is Gruden made a point of it before and how to limit it... and it's as if his brothers team never considered it.

They got the stop, but it was down to errors from Wilson and Unger more than Washington's own play.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Washington's receivers seem poor. Not making the difficult catches at all. Gotta be making those if you're gonna beat Seattle.

"Cliff Avril should buy stock in Monday night football, he has a sack in each of his lsdtvthtre games on it" -- What does that even mean, John!?!?

Replay your sky boxes to that Harbin punt return of your watching on digital and watch #52 of the Redskins. One of the most half assed non tackles I have seen in a long while.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,218 ✭✭✭shamrock55

    Thats more like it

Cousins seemed to be doing a lot of staring down on that series.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

Only a matter of time before Cousins throws a pick by the looks of things as eagle eye said earlier. His throws are so obvious and short tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Don't know where the Redskins are going to get their points from in this game.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

I am trying to find one single positive for the Redskins so far........ I guess their penetration on the blitz hasn't even awful?

Harvin has waltzed past their whole defense in the whole redzone literally twice in a row now. Very unlucky on Seattle.
