Any ideas how I can track this down? Have tried everywhere I can think of online and no record shops nearby!

    Hi Fembo,

Are you still looking for that recording on vinyl?

I can get my hands on a copy but may take about 2 weeks.

    I have it.

LP is called From 1916: The Best Of Ireland's Music.
Credited to Ireland's National Orchestra and Choir.
Released by the His Master's Voice label in 1966.
    Catalogue number CLP 3530.
    Flipback sleeve.
Presumably released to tie in with the 50th anniversary of the Easter Rising.
Would have primarily sold to Irish emigrants in Britain.
€1 from a charity shop in Maynooth about 10 years ago.
I've used it when DJing. Last track of the night naturally.

    Here's my upload.
