Is it possible to transfer more than 1500 to initially set up a saving account ?

    When you open a saving account you set how much money you want to transfer every month. I was thinking to do an initial transfer higher than the limit for one time and then set a lower monthly transfer.

    Is this possible ?

    This can depend on the type of savings account you have. It will state in the terms and conditions for your account the maximum amount that you can lodge into your account and whether it is necessary for payments to be via a direct debit. 
    The best thing to do here would be to contact our dedicated Savings team on 0818 200 347 who can advise you on the best option for you and explain the ways in which you can deposit funds into your savings account. Please also find more details on our Savings Accounts here
