Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

FS Chez stupid, definite red card! Well Ospina going to get a few games now!

Just the one match ban for a professional foul

Gotta love the rules...Melo gets a yellow for that leg breaker and Chez gets sent off for that.

Really happy for Danny. He often got alot of undeserved criticism at Utd, so it's good to see him put on a performance like that tonight to show what he can do as a striker. He's only going to get better too.

Would like to see Ospina having a few games to see what he's like.

Worse thing about what was going to be a relaxing 30 mins is now going to be a lot more stressful with more energy to be expended with Sun in mind.

From a positive point of view it gives them a defensive mind frame and with Stamford Bridge on the horizon, that's not a bad thing

Whats with the touch judges making the subs wait till the man going off has stepped off the pitch. it seems a big thing this season is it some new directive, it seems quite anal.

Ospina seems really chilled out, solid so far anyway.

Sky leave off the Özil abuse

    Greedy Danny

In fairness I think he thought there was no one behind him. You could tell by the look on his face after it, he was almost saying, "why didn't ya shout and let me know. "

I'd blame Rosicky for not telling him to leave it there.

Yeah, 30 minutes under the cosh will be a lot more helpful then a 30 minute stroll.

What are the odds on Wilshere getting injured?

Hopefully now your man on Sky will stop going on about Ozil.

Don't know why we're risking Jack though.

    Hahaha what a save

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

Jaysus that looked a great save.

Only we can make a handy 4 nil walk in the park game into hard work

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,192 ✭✭✭Ken Shamrock

If Danny scored there I'd have been convinced

This is no where near hard work, we are coasting 4-1

Some run alright. Touch just a tad heavy and with the pace he was travelling at just left ball behind. Shame really

Rosicky is looking very rusty, giving the ball away a lot which isn't like him.

    Ekkk Ospina injured!!!!?

    Kos solid

Great to see Ospina get some big game time despite the circumstances. All in all a great night.

That would've been some goal by Santi considering were the ones playing with ten men.

  • Administrators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,408 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Mickeroo

Jack should have passed along the ground there I reckon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,116 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

A goal would've been no more than Cazorla deserved for his game tonight.

    Tis a pity

Good result. Good performance. Well done lads.

Now I do get into it with people here but will openly put my hand up and admit when I'm wrong.

That defence were all over the place and Welbeck's pace and power rather than any footballing talent exposed them.

Honestly we never put those teams away like that with Giroud and you can see why. Dodgy positioning or defending isn't nearly as bad when the striker will always have to turn back and find a midfielder.

Giroud's probably better against a parked bus but I don't remember him ever winning a game before half time.

It was only after that first goal that i realised how long it had been since we scored off the shoulder of the last defender.
