    RECRUITMENT DRIVE UNDERWAY

    Hi, are you interested in joining the army reserve? Well finally we are recruiting again.

    We are looking to actively recruit personnel from north Dublin, Louth and Meath to join E Company of 27 Infantry Battalion.

    You will be based between Gormanston Camp and Navan.

    Hold on a minute, I know what you're thinking ... Navan?? well, its actually just over a forty minute drive down the m1 or N2 and at the minute about 15% of Navan's soldiers come from Swords, Balbriggan, Rush, Lusk and Skerries - including myself!

    Also, you need to remember that the week night training is split between Gormanston Camp just outside balbriggan and our Company HQ location in Flowerhill Navan.

    We want men and women from all backgrounds in these areas, aged between 18 and 35 inclusive, to sign up today.

    Watch out for a pop up recruitment stand coming to major shopping centres in your towns over the next 4 weeks.

    did it myself for a few years back in swords and mckee barracks would reccomend it to anybody its a great experience:D

    Hey comrade! 7Bn BCoy then 65Bn A Coy Swords - thats my unit - at least it was until they disbanded it and closed the slua hall. because were training now in gormo and navan it makes sense to recruit from the north dublin cachement area. Those of us who served in swords are trying to keep the RDF link with swords, rush, skerries, lusk, balbriggan etc open

    Recruit intake will on Wednesday night in Navan from 8pm
