Button picked a good weekend to come up with a drive like this.

    I don't think he's too worried! :)

If it doesn't rain before the end will we see slicks? :P

Did Williams bank on a rained off race?

Wonder now, if these inters will last long enough for conditions or will they start running into wear issues now

Front right wear problem, so they'll need to pit at some stage if the weather stays in the same condition

It's a bit risky, with how quickly the track is drying there could be more wear as the race goes on and pitting early might make an extra stop necessary.

Few years ago that would've been the end of Hamilton's race.

Rosberg and Hamilton pushing now, wonder will one of them make mistake

edit: there's Hamilton getting caught out

Hamilton has so much more pace, Rosberg should really be popping into the pits.

    hamilton takes the lead

Great pass by Hamilton but I can't understand the benefit in leaving Rosberg out. Worst case scenario he ends up behind Hamilton, best case he gets an under-cut or gets to run fresh tyres til they have to put on slicks.

WDC done I think. Its over. Rosberg needs Hamilton to fail in a few races.

    Lewis takes it.
I think it was all in the pit straight entrance Nico got a twitch of oversteer coming onto it.

Great stuff from Ham. What an overtake.

1-2 gap already close to 2s within the lap.

He'd get stuck behind Button though and loss touch with Hamilton

We'll see how it works for Vettel

Oh my Lewis is almost 3secs a lap faster
Probably a bad lap for Nico.

Nah he'd get around Button no problem. 4 seconds in a couple of laps, pretty sure Rosberg's tyres are destroyed.

It's not the first time this season that Hamilton's more "conservative" driving has reaped real rewards. Better with fuel (Rosberg has had to be told to back off in prev. races), and better looking after his tyres.

Almost looking like Hamilton can run until the slick window opens.

You're right that Rosberg is losing too much time now

is pitting now, Redbull pace a lot greater

    nico pits

Is team allowed tell Hamilton his pace is poor? Could get caught out

That could have been due to the back markers, though, and now he's past.
edit - spoke too soon, but Hamilton's still P1 on fresh tyres now.
