    Hey guys,
I've got a blu-ray drive on my Win 7 machine. It is capable of burning single and dual-layer BD-R up to 50GB. I'm looking for software that is capable of taking a 1080p MKV and burn it as a Blu-ray movie, and/or downgrading it to DVD movie.

    Thanks.

Long while since I did any of this but, you'd need to convert back to an ISO to put it on a DVD, probably take an absolute age to convert depending on size and CPU you have...I can't recommend one, they were all sh1t last time I was trying this and took hours with an i5. Maybe it's improved.

    or

back to an AVCHD for a Blu-Ray

Try http://multiavchd.deanbg.com/ or http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR to go for this option and then http://www.imgburn.com/ to put on a disc.

They use to do it^^ as long as it was standard codec stuff in the MKV otherwise you'd run in to all sorts of bother. Maybe that's improved. If it hasn't and unless you really need them on a disc, look at getting a media player of some sort, their's loads now...be cheaper to.

    MKV to DVD
This process will take a long time. Go get a coffee or leave it to work overnight. Once the process is done you'll want to test your files ate the beginning, middle and end to be sure they're not corrupt smile.gif
    F-that, still the same.

Haven't time to look for MKV to -->

It'll be handy when these come out.
